I am a Newcombe Fellow, and a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor. My dissertation is entitled “Theorizing Displacement: On Nonvoluntary Migration, Asylum, and the Right to Remain.”

My broad interests are in global justice and the ethics of international law. My current research is in the field of migration justice and focuses on the political and ethical dimensions of displacement.

Before coming to UM, I received BAs in Philosophy and Liberal Studies from the University of Houston. I am also pursuing a graduate certificate in Latin American studies from the University of Michigan.
